Overview
World War II sparked many methods of propaganda that were the greatest in all of history. The Allies and Axis were both preparing for the major war that was about to be held and needed as much support on the home front as they could possibly gain. Propaganda is information that is aimed at major populations of people/citizens to influence their decisions about a certain topic. The leaders and government were trying to influence the citizens that their motives for war were legitimate and also used the propaganda method to cause them to despise the opposing force as much as they did. Three major countries that greatly depended on propaganda were Germany, Britain, and the United States. Much of the propaganda within Britain and the United States was aimed to develop an anti-German outlook within the home front where Germany was mostly focused on an anti-Jew development in the country.
